Your truth can be a lie invented by me and my truth can be a lie invented by you. In this labyrinth of truth, where is the absoluteness? Where is the ultimate truth?
Generally, when we speak about truth, its more about morality and less about experiential. This keeps us swinging between verbal truth and verbal untruth.
Example1: While enjoying trekking in jungle, I witness a pack of wolves where a mother wolf is feeding her children and father wolf is guarding the boundaries. As i move forward collecting the memories of wolf family, i met a tall person with a gun in hand. In his hunting instincts he asked – “have you seen animal nearby?”
What do you expect me to reply? Verbal Truth/Verbal Untruth OR Experiential Truth?
Example2: I was enjoying a Satsang where a gathering of 5000 followers was attending the session of famous “Guruji” to gain knowledge and wisdom. As I came out, I met a terrorist all packed up with wires, light bulbs and a detonator in his hand. He asked me – “whether the room inside hall is full or empty?”
What do you expect me to reply? Verbal Truth/Untruth OR Experiential Truth?
In both examples, my truth can be different from your truth as its usage is relative for us. Its equally valid observations with different perspective that appear contradictory. Its your pre-conditioned mind, thoughts & intentions which helps in deciding Truth in particular situation. For me it can be saving strategy, for you it can be attacking or vice- versa. For somebody it can be peace while for other it can be righteousness. For some it can be spoken words in literal sense while others opt for actions and intentions.
Well, the ultimate truth is when you act out of inclusiveness and unselfishness. If your intentions and actions are for larger well-being truth prevails but, if your intentions and actions are towards exclusive well-being, it certainly questions the truth within. Whatever morality we hold ultimately, when things go against us, we twist and mould and we invent a lie. We all do this but we do not have courage to accept it.
Truth is that sweetness which flows inside you. It is the conscience within you. It is Experiential. It is the selfless form of you. It is relative and finally It is YOU!
